Current Status & Outlook Tropical Storm SIONY (ATSANI) continues to remain quasi-stationary over the North Philippine Sea. Its  potential threat to Extreme Northern Luzon likely with high uncertainty.

24-hr Outlook: TS SIONY (ATSANI) is forecast to move very slowly on a clockwise track, and shall intensify slowly while over the North Philippine Sea.

  • FRIDAY EVENING: Intensifies at near-Typhoon strength as it passes over the Balintang Channel…about 99 km WSW of Basco, Batanes  [8PM Nov 06: 20.2°N 117.8°E @ 100 kph].  Confidence Level: LOW
