Current Status and Outlook |
Typhoon (TY) CHEDENG [GUCHOL] has already reached its peak of 165 km/hr as it starts accelerating north-northeast towards the Sea south of Japan. It is expected to move out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow evening (June 11). TY CHEDENG will continue to slightly enhance the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), bringing scattered to occasional rain showers with severe thunderstorms across the western sections of the country this weekend. Please take all necessary precautions against floods and landslides. |
