A newly-formed Tropical Storm (TS) over the Western Pacific Ocean has entered the eastern border of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). It is now named “INDAY” – the 9th Philippine Tropical Cyclone of 2022. No significant indirect effects will be expected from this cyclone through the next 24 hours, particularly the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). |
