Current Status & Outlook | BISING (SURIGAE) has weakened rapidly into a Category 4 Super Typhoon (STY) while slowing down over the Philippine Sea, east of Bicol Region.
This typhoon will bring occasional rains with severe thunderstorms and gusty winds across Samar and Bicol Provinces today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, its Trough will also bring rainy conditions across the Visayas and Mindanao. 24-hr Outlook: STY BISING (SURIGAE) is forecast to turn north-northwestward slowly at a speed of 08 km/hr and will pass well to the east-northeast of Catanduanes, more or less 245 km away from the island province by 2:00 PM tomorrow afternoon. This howler will therefore weaken further to below Super Typhoon strength within the next 12 to 24 hours. |
