Current Status & Outlook | Typhoon MARCE (YINXING) has weakened to a Category 2 storm as it accelerates westward across the West Philippine Sea. It is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) later this afternoon, with improving weather conditions anticipated in the Ilocos Region today.
This is the final advisory on the 13th Philippine Tropical Cyclone of 2024. 48-hr Outlook: Typhoon MARCE is expected to regain Category 3 status by tomorrow morning as it moves into the South China Sea. It will shift slightly west-northwestward and gradually slow down, weakening to Category 1 by Sunday morning (Nov 9). |
